At 7:54 a.m., Thursday, November 19th, I was going to title this blog “I hate Abbey”, but as I began to wake up she grew on me. After all, how can you hate someone who is merely trying to lessen the trauma of a 6 mile run by forcing you to go with her (at gun point, I might add). And I guess the scenery was pretty amazing… and she is my good buddy, roomie, and frequent running partner. So I suppose the question is: who could hate Abbey Shea?
Upon our arrival at Arguello Gate, which boasts vistas of the Presido, the Palace of Fine Arts, Alcatraz, Angel Island and various other magnificent San Francisco scenes, the prospect of a 6 mile run at that hour didn’t seem so abominable.
