What to do with old progressive yard signs? {The Onion}

For the complete infographic, click over to The Onion. But seriously, folks, what do we do with all those leftover signs? Make a roof out of ’em? Something creative? Ideas, leave a comment below.

The Yard Sign Conundrum

Let’s say you’re running for office on an environmentally-friendly platform. You run for anything, you have to print up yard signs—lots of ’em. So what are the best eco options?

I nearly ran for Boulder City Council last time ’round, and in so doing did some research on “green” yard signs. There aren’t any, really, right now. I look forward to the day when they’re recyclable. Made out of PET (recycled plastic bottles and such). Until then, the best you can do is print on cardboard, but the lamination makes it un-recyclable, and weather will ruin those cardboard signs fast—making you have to print more (not exactly eco-responsible).
