Nau‘s updated jackets are hip, simple yet creative, with clean lines and stand up to abuse while looking downright dressy.
The Shroud of Purrin Jacket for the ladies is our fave: $280
Performance: Wind resistant, water resistant, highly breathable and with four-way stretch, the Shroud Of Purrin fabric performs as a lightly insulated softshell for active use. The smooth face fabric is treated with a DWR finish for added water repellency. Inside, a kitten-belly soft faux-fur polyester fleece lining retains heat and feels amazing next to skin.
Sustainability: The Shroud of Purrin Jacket’s polyester fabric is both 100% recycled and recyclable. Created from recycled post-consumer and post-industrial polyester waste, the Shroud of Purrin Jacket employs cradle-to-cradle ECOCIRCLE® technology, so that at the end of its long life it can be sent back to us and be recycled once again into polyester fibers for reuse.
This jacket is a great, classy windbreaker, perfect for when I ride my bicycle. With the distinctive collar and fun asymmetric lines, the 100% recycled polyester with a soft lining made me feel cute and stylish when everyone else was in their big puffy outdoor jackets.
For the men, we love the Modus Trench: $450
Performance: Three-layer recycled polyester shell is waterproof, windproof and breathable. Longer length means greater coverage in stormy weather. A generous hood provides shelter in stormy weather, and zips off for an uncluttered look. The high collar buttons shut for added protection. Articulated sleeves free arms for easy movement, Velcro cuffs keep warmth in, elements out.
Sustainability: The recycled polyester fabric was developed in partnership with Teijin, the fabric supplier behind ECOCIRCLE® technology, which weaves stretch fabric from post-consumer and post-industrial polyester waste. Closing the loop, at the end of its long life the Modus can be recycled once again into polyester fibers for reuse.
Nau, known for making sustainable urban outdoor clothing, has an awesome Code of Conduct: to steer clear from child labor and and provide a healthy and safe work place while sourcing eco-responsible materials.
The materials that make up each jacket are renewable fibers produced in a deliberately sustainable-as-practical manner, with synthetic fabrics that contain high recycled content, and few toxic materials in all product finishes and dyes, and salvaged and recycled materials for details like buttons.
We love.Sleek, urban and great for Fall/Spring weather.
