Leaning. ~ Eric Paul McCarty {Poem}

let my fingers feel the wind

To feel the weight of
sudden fingers—

Pressed against our distance.

As if our yearning were a
solid wall of sorrow.

That gave way to constant
leaning.

If only for an instant.
