Yoga Happens Between Poses. ~ Michael Mark {Poem}

transition walk through light

it’s not the Dog

not the Down

closer to

the lowering

while rising

into stillness

and just as we settle

it is gone

as we are

dropping, lifting

to Baby Cobra

arrow-straight arms in Warrior Two

are neither arrows nor straight

there is no straight line in our bodies

in nature

in between the flowing inhales and

exhales

as sweat forms and

slides down our forms

releasing

muscle from muscle

breath from breath

mind from body

past from present

expectation from is

exactly there.
