There are still men (and women) out there who think that yoga is something for women only.
For the soft, new agey, meno-pausing female part of the population. I meet people who still believe in the cliché that yoga is a walk in the park and dull because it’s all about sitting crossed-legged and humming “om” for hours on end. I sometimes get to explain that most of the people I know are too stiff to sit cross-legged at all and are so unaware of their breathing that they cannot inhale deeply enough to chant any om of significance. Let alone do both at the same time for hours on end. Not to mention all the other pretzling business that a dedicated asana practice can lead to. However, I think that showing this video to non-believers will have more impact. Not a single second of this highly spiritual and inspiring practice is tedious or emasculating. Yoga for women only? Watch this and reconsider.
