This one line of a genuinely-pained Jon Stewart on the Eric Garner murder by the NYPD stuck with me.

The Eric Garner Grand Jury Decision

“We are definitely not living in a post-racial society, and I can imagine many people out there are wondering how much of a society we are living in at all.”

A day I’m thankful for Jon Stewart.

 

“I honestly don’t know what to say…If comedy is tragedy plus time I need more fucking time. But I would really settle for less fucking tragedy if I’m honest with you”
