You’re Everywhere. {Poem}

You’re Everywhere.

I wake up, you’re there.
I get dressed, you’re there.
I make coffee and eggs, you’re there.
I watch the wind, you’re there.
I wrap myself in blankets, you’re there.
I work, you’re there.
I write, you’re there.
I take a break, you’re there.
I plan things, you’re there.
I remember things, you’re there.
I succeed at things, you’re there.
I regret things, you’re there.
I buy milk and beans, you’re there.
I watch nature documentaries, you’re there.
I drink ale, you’re there.
I turn on soft lights, you’re there.
I slip in between clean sheets, you’re there.
I lay awake staring at the stars, you’re there.
I drift off to sleep, you’re there.
I dream, you’re there.

You’re everywhere. Except here.
