The Only Yoga Podcast Needed. {Video}

 yoga home

I’ve been a home practitioner since I was 14 years old.

I came into yoga before there were many studio offerings in the Midwest. Throw in a period of regular travel, living in a place with no yoga classes for an 80-mile radius, and babies, and I think it becomes obvious as to why my home practice has always been a huge part of my life as a yogi.

Once again, I’m now in the position of not being easily able to attend classes. (I have a five month old.) While I’ll admit to currently lifting weights to help me zone out and stay present, my yoga practice is still my one true love—and what I’d like to share here with you is the one podcast that I think every at-home yoga lover needs in their arsenal.

Personally, I find Baptiste yoga to have it all. From hip openers and twists to flowing movement, Baron Baptiste created a great yoga style. Considering this, as well as my appreciation and study of other classical styles, I present this 30-minute sequence created a few years ago for Yoga Journal and available on their free YouTube channel.

Over and over again, it’s my go-to for general feel-good vinyasas, cranky moods, days when I want to take it down a notch and do a shorter routine, and also days when I want to feel like I touched well upon every major muscle group.

In short, this podcast just feels good. So, enjoy!

Relephant:

Best yoga video you’ve seen for a long time.
