The secret power of the energy field—also known as the aura—is its capacity for storage.
The human energy field, which is connected to the universal energy field, holds all the information that makes up who we are physically, emotionally, mentally and physically.
Often people who are clairvoyant will see the human energy field as white or green light (or other colors) hovering near and around the body.
But the energy field is much more than light—it is information.
This is why all of those folks who believe in the Law of Attraction are always going on about thinking positive and having gratitude.
Because the energy field stores everything.
Everything that happens in this life, and if we believe in them or not, things that have happened in past lives, are stored in our personal and collective energy field. And this can seem scary, because we have all had things happen to us that we wish could be forgotten.
When working with the energy field though, we aren’t looking to consciously forget our past, but instead we have the ability to clear out the residue of negative events, trauma, habitual beliefs and pain from our energy field.
Just as the energy field can store information it can also throw away information.
This is a very good thing because in my opinion, the energy field is essentially one big magnet. Whatever is in the energy field holds the vibrational essence of what we are attracting into our lives.
Sometimes when people learn about the Law of Attraction, it can bring about a great sense of guilt and blame. We have all had things happen in our lives that we wish wouldn’t have happened and we hate the idea that in some way we might have accidentally attracted negative outcomes into our own lives that we could have prevented.
But mostly we aren’t attracting anything into our lives on purpose. There are many things in our energy field that we didn’t purposely put there. Childhood trauma, events that have happened around us, fear, shock—this all gets stuck in the energy field, and as long as it is in there, it can wreak havoc.
What I pick up in the energy field when I am doing energy healing is little tears that have been caused by shards of pain that are stuck in the energy field.
I have taken this to mean that as long as the pain is still in the field it continues to cause damage. And I know that seems pretty depressing that our old pain continues to hurt us.
What really excites me about the energy field is that healing it isn’t very difficult. We can do it for ourselves or get help from a friend or a professional.
It just takes intention, visualization and some self-love in terms of taking the time to make an effort in this direction.
We can imagine the energy field however it is represented to us. As light, energy, sunshine or even just in words. Then we can picture the darkness and congestion of the old yucky stuff we no longer need in the energy field and just let it fly off of us (I like to send it out the window) and set the intention that it is dissolving back into neutral energy.
Any pain that is ready to leave usually leaves pretty easily. So, if we have been doing a lot of self-awareness work and noticing old belief systems and pain we no longer want to hang on to, these issues, in my experience, are easily accessible in the field and can clear quickly.
I know this can sound too easy, but why shouldn’t our healing needs be easy?
We are here to grow and to evolve. We are here to find health and love but that means we need to take the time to do it.
When old pain that no longer serves us is stuck in the energy field, it can be difficult to be motivated and have the focus we need to find our true purpose.
Sometimes we need to start our healing process by getting rid of what we no longer need in our energetic systems so that the goodness we want to tap into can be accessed easier.
Taking time to practice meditation can be one of the greatest ways of becoming more in touch with the energy field. When the mind is always busy with thoughts, worries and plans, it can be very hard to tap into other nuanced sensations and information.
When we start to quiet the mind, all types of new information becomes available.
Quieting the mind, paying attention to nuanced sensation, setting intentions for healing and practicing visualization activities that encourage old pain and trauma to leave the energy field are just a few ways we can tap into this brilliant storage system that we carry around with us called the energy field.
