Redefining Sisterhood. {Poem}

We are not catty.

We are not jealous.
We are not mean.
We do not judge each other.
We do not blame and we do not shame.
We do not allow for any bullsh*t to muddy the space between us.
We face to the discomfort that comes with being human.
And we take responsibility for our projections and insecurities that have defined our pasts.
We speak to the once unspeakable.
We completely clear the air.
We create safe space.
We confront our fears and dissolve old limiting beliefs around relating to women.
We hold each other through hard times.
We allow the other to unravel.
But we do not coddle.
Because we see beyond the story.
We mirror strength and beauty.
We reflect passion and fierceness.
We live by example.
We dare greatly—we fall hard and we rise strong again.
We love each other through the falling.
We sit with one another in the darkness.
And we shine the light.
We inspire each other.
We share our dreams, our goals, our visions.
We believe in each other’s unlimited magic and endless potential.
We build each other up.
We trust the other with our lives.
We are not attached to one another.
We appreciate the other.
We celebrate the other’s existence in every moment.
We laugh. We cry. We dance. We play.
We scream. We hurt. We heal. We love.
We get to be ourselves.
Wild and free.
An unapologetic untamed flame.
We see ourselves in each other.
We receive ourselves in that reflection.
We own our greatness and we get to shine.
For when we dim, we are called out.
There is no playing small with one another.
We hold each other accountable to be all that we are.
We support each other in creating and cultivating the things we desire most.
We believe in each other’s missions and we see them through.
