Update: “In Excess of 50” have Died in Las Vegas, making it One of Worst Attacks in U.S. History. {Warning: Graphic Videos}

Update: Death toll rises to “excess of 50,” via LVMPD on Twitter, making it one of the deadliest shootings in United States history.

At least 20 people are now confirmed dead from a shooting at a Jason Aldean concert in Las Vegas. (Originally posted at 2:51 a.m. MST)

From The New York Times: 

“A gunman in a Las Vegas hotel opened fire Sunday night at a concert outside, sending thousands of people fleeing as SWAT units searched for the attacker. At least 20 people were killed and more than 100 others injured, hospital officials said.”

SWAT teams arrived on scene and the LVMPD has confirmed the suspect is down and they do not believe there are any more active shooters.
