When we let it all Fall Away, we are Left with Love. {Poem}

Free Love, Heavy Love.

falls away
the future
falls away
the list
falls away
fear of commitment
falls away
fear of ending up alone
fall away
fall away
and I’m left with
the heaviest
most gentle and nurturing
that I’ve ever known.

A Love
that drips like
cranberries fermented in raw honey
A Love
that beats like one heart
lost in the ethereal void
that is the space and time between lives
A Love
that reminds me why I’m alive
and causes me to forget about anything
having him in my hands once more
A Love
that swells like an ocean wave
crashing and kissing the rocks
rounding off their edges
A Love
like an old book you’ve finished
that you set back onto the shelf
to read again and again
and again.
