Gettin’ Jiggy with It: Infectious Inspiration from Will Smith.

Will Smith is gettin’ jiggy with it alright. This actor, singer, and fan fave is dropping infectious messages of inspiration all over the internet. I am crushin’ on this man, and soon you will be too.

Just listen to how he took this Rumi quote for a spin:

“Set your life on fire. Seek those who fan your flames.” ~ Rumi

I bet we are all looking at our last five texts right now.

Will Smith also shares the best marriage advice I have heard in a long time. It’s so simple. He and his wife, Jada, approach life together like the stars they are:

Doesn’t that ring true for any relationship?

Recently, this loaded lesson on failure hit home for me. We must fail. The message is important for all of us:

“Fail early, fail often, fail forward.”

It’s scary but brilliant. “Failure helps you in the areas where you actually need to evolve,” says Smith.

With all this knowledge, Will Smith must be an amazing father. How cool would it be to have a dad that can rock? Yet, remember in his younger days when he rapped this?

“You know parents are the same,

No matter time nor place.

They don’t understand that us kids

Are going to make some mistakes.

So to you, all the kids all across the land,

There’s no need to argue:

Parents just don’t understand.”

Oh, he gets it now as a parent. Watch how he slays this interview with his son, Jaden.

Finally, to seal the deal on any potential crushes on Will Smith, this is what is in his heart about humanity:

“Greatness is not this wonderful, esoteric, elusive, god-like feature that only the special among us will ever taste, it’s something that truly exists in all of us.” ~ Will Smith
