“Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez sets the record straight.”
If you’re depressed. If you’re saddened and horrified. Do these two things, and see me in the morning.
1. Get active. Community will inspire. Mobilize your emotions and values to create a kinder world. Watch as your sadness and fear and horror turn to joy and solidarity and care. Vote, and register others to do so. Share your story here, and 1,000s will see it.
2. Watch three hours of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, as I just did. There are others, like President Obama and Bernie (he needs no qualifier, at this point) who speaking genuinely with honesty and empathy—but hers is a jolt of inspiration in a hateful and confused national landscape.
