April’s full moon on the 19th opens us up to our creativity and our creative projects.

It’s a moon that illuminates the stories and endeavors that we have (consciously or subconsciously) stuffed down and ignored for fear of rejection. This moon shines a light on our deepest and darkest desires in story or creative telling. The secrets we keep as we fall to the floor in exhaustion, saying a silent prayer to find our voices once again.

It awakens a new bravery within us.

A courage to open up our hearts and begin to take note of what lives inside of us—stories and creations long forgotten. Old ideas that, while we once might have been embarrassed to share, we now have the ability to release our hesitation and bring out the words and art that lives inside of us.

This moon allows us to align with our creative mind and have structure to our artistry. It’s a bold moon just as we are bold souls.

Open up to this energy and see what you are capable of.

You are ready to learn and grow and walk away with a solid start past resistance, away from fear, and into the capacity you carry.

And with a lion’s heart

I open up to the deep and rooted story lines I long to tell

my courage

screams out of me like a roar across the Savannah

and with this clarity

I am ready for the world to hear

what I see

and for my voice to land inside the hearts and minds of others

so that they

may heal

their hearts

and salve their souls

and continue across the wide-open expanse

to happiness.
