I believed you had my heart
Until you broke it apart
Straight bang in the middle
My life was torn apart
The edges started to crack
This disease seeped through
We once called it love
I can’t stop calling after you
Melodic words turned poisonous anger
You’re perfectly poised with splendour and grandeur
Is there another?
I deserve to know
Or is it just me
For letting myself go
A future we thought forever
Our happily ever after
Gradually came crashing down
Into one big disaster
We worked so hard at building a family home
Soon I will have to share it alone
Countless memories and tons of laughter
It just wasn’t meant to be
