I think everyone can agree that this has been a…trying year.

You don’t need me to remind you of all the things that have happened; you know—you are still living it. And that’s why this lighthearted video is exactly what you need. (It’s exactly what I needed when I first watched it last night.)

It includes some (if not all) of the biggest household names in Hollywood: Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Morgan Freeman, Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts, Henry Golding, Jimmy Kimmel, Shia LaBeouf, John Legend, Dane Cook, Sean Penn, and Ray Liotta. (Did I mention Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston?!)

It felt like a multilayered flashback to childhood as they did the cold-read of this cult classic. Brad and Jennifer obviously make the whole world melt with their good looks, but seeing them reunite as friends to raise money for COVID-19 was awesome—and made me feel old. I felt even older as Shia LaBeouf read his lines as stoner-favorite Jeff Spicoli. Also, Morgan Freeman is the narrator. Need I say more?

It is probably the coolest, funniest, most talent-filled Zoom gathering that will ever occur. I dare say it might’ve changed how I feel about 2020. Even if it’s just for a moment, they definitely brought some light into these hard times.
