5 Pieces of Wisdom that will help you Attract the Abundance you Desire.

Every morning my husband and I have a ritual of coming together, choosing an inspirational angel card, and reading a quote before our days begin.

We’ve always done it; if we miss a day, we agree we feel off.

The goal is to reflect together, set an intention, and wire into positivity before we begin worldly encounters.

In 2016, my husband had started contemplating working for himself. While he loved being an electrician and enjoyed the people he worked with, he felt drained from his traditional nine-to-five job and was craving freedom. He had witnessed me build a successful healing practice and started dreaming about having his own business.

I could empathize with his shares and began reflecting on my path. My job before being self-employed was in the aviation industry as a flight attendant. The role tested me in ways I couldn’t dream up—rude comments, demands, disrespect.

One of my biggest lessons in the journey to taking my final departure as a flight attendant was learning that to get to where I was going, I first had to love where I was. I remember repeating to myself frequently:

To get to where I am going, I love where I am.

I began using a practice for challenging in-flight moments. Whenever I felt anger or frustration start building in my body, I would put on the bright blue latex cleaning gloves provided for us, then grab a plastic bag to act as though I was about to clean. I would lock myself in the lavatory, stare at myself in the mirror, and list off all of the blessings from the day. I would stay there until I could feel the shift in my chest and tummy, move from heavy to light.

I had studied metaphysics for several years prior and knew energy follows thought. As a reminder, I wrote a note for myself to keep in my carry-on bag, ensuring I would see the message often. It read, “my frequency is my guarantee” (meaning my rate of vibration will guarantee the experiences I have).

Around the same time, I was introduced to a book I still use daily. Creating Money: Attracting Abundance, by Sanya Roman and Duane Packer. I use the method of bibliomancy when reading. I breathe deep into my tummy, open to a random page, and shift my frequency with the message awaiting.

Going back to my husband, I knew he was drained and tired. I also knew advising him to take pretend bathroom breaks for mirror work and leaving Post-it notes around him would be a hard sell. Instead, I grabbed the Creating Money book (which really isn’t about money at all from my perspective).

We began reading from the book each day. We opened it, and each read a sentence or three. Exactly 51 weeks later, my husband took a risk with ease and explored entrepreneurship. He created more time and money freedom in his life, which still exists today.

The book has provided many nuggets of wisdom, which I am hoping benefits others.

Here are five wisdom pieces from Creating Money: Attracting Abundance, offered through bibliomancy, which will guarantee an abundant frequency:

1. “I allow myself to have more than I ever dreamed possible. When more money is coming in than going out, when you are getting more business or money than you expected, it is challenging to continue to ask for more. If you say, ‘This is too much; if it continues, I won’t be able to handle all the business, responsibility, or work,’ you may put the brakes on more tightly than you expect. Then, when the natural ebb comes, you might find the money or business less than you want. When you feel you are being inundated by business, work, opportunities, or money, don’t put on the brakes. Challenge yourself to ask for more. Indulge in unlimited thinking and expand your imagination of what is possible for you to have.”

2. “I have a unique, special contribution to make. You will recognize when you are doing your life’s work by the feelings of vitality and aliveness it gives you. You will feel that your life has greater meaning and that you are making a worthwhile contribution. You will have a compelling vision or goal. You will feel happier in every area of your life.”

3. “You can have fulfilling, satisfying work. You can feel alive every day of your life and make money in the process. You can work in a supportive environment, around people you enjoy, making what you love.”

4. “You have what it takes. You can draw your life’s work to you more quickly by developing the inner strengths and resources you will need to successfully carry it out. You do not need to take large risks or big steps that are inappropriate for you. By starting with small steps and developing your inner resources, each move you make will be an easy step. As you take small steps, you will discover that your dreams are within your reach and easier to accomplish than you imagine.”

5. “Magnetize what you truly want, not something that is compromise. Acquiring objects that compromises is rarely exciting enough to stimulate you to do what is necessary to get them. If you do not feel you can create what you want, it is better not to ask for something in its place that doesn’t really excite you or motive you.”

If this found the way to you because self-employment is on your goal list, I highly recommend tracking down the book, and I wish you an abundance of success and love!

If anything shifted for you as reading the above, I would love to hear! Please do share with me in the comments.
