Truth

The truth doesn’t need to be defended.
When you’re trying to convince someone of something, you’re really trying to convince yourself.
When you’re not sure within yourself if something is true or not, it usually means you’re not sure if it’s true or not.
So we do this very human thing of defending what we we’re not even sure is true – standing up for it, fighting for it, and trying to sell it to other people.
The truth doesn’t need to be sold.
The truth speaks for itself.
If I need to convince you and try to get you to believe me, I’ve invested so much of my energy into YOU, not the thing I’m supposedly standing for.
This is what happens when we’re afraid, contracted, we’ve been hurt, and we feel vulnerable.
And then we’ve lost the ability to hear what our truth actually is, our souls truth. Because now we’re swimming in everyone else’s bull shit, trying to please, say the right thing, be liked, and be a part of the crowd. And we’re spilling our emotions and our triggers all over the place…..all the while not being rooted in something. It’s all ego.
What are you rooted in?
What is the truth that your soul has come here to express?
Do you have the strength to fuck what anyone else says or thinks about it?
It’s in all of us.
We have to create space to access it, to work with it, and open ourselves up to it.
