On the other side of fear
is hope.

is joy.

once sorrow concludes its last envoi,
you’ll let happiness fill your cup.
On the other side of doubt
is trust.
Discernment of what is real.
Uncertainty sifts out what it must—
the alchemy of truth revealed.
On the other side of grief
is grace.
Allow loss to winnow its way inside
and let all the tears roll down your face.
Love will have no place else to hide.
Sometimes, life is just a long midnight.
Sometimes, the end just feels so near.
But darkness is only an absence of light
and every moment things become more clear—
I’ll be by your side when the timing’s right.
