Some need to be free – to feel safe.
Some need to feel safe- to be free.
And if one starts to fall in love with the other, life becomes merciless.
One sees all their heartbreak, bruises, and trauma.
You won’t find a more honest mirror, nor one more painful.
Still, there are all the hugs and kisses and laughter.
And as one looks at the other, they will always see themself in the other.
But to be themself truly and fully will always cause pain for the other.
So one and the other will let go of each other
To save the life, love, and light for one another.
