Bitasta Roy Mehta is from India. She currently resides in Singapore with her family.
She is a parent, wife, daughter, and a citizen of the world. Having lived in six countries, working with multiple cultures and diverse human beings, she has learnt to embrace the constant phenomenon of change. She is a meditation practitioner since 2012 and now teaches the art and science of meditation, to children and adults.
She is the originator of IRA—a mindful you. Inspired by His Holiness, Dalai Lama, she believes that meditation could bring about greater compassion and kindness in the modern world. She is a student of the works of Buddhist mind and philosophy and closely learns from the works of S. N. Goenka, Jon Kabat Zinn, Jack Kornfield, and many other spiritual leaders.
