Just because you think that you’re close enough does not mean that you can cross her boundaries. Just because she lets you be yourself does not mean that you can say things that you know will hurt her. Just because she is understanding does not mean that you can act recklessly to put her in danger. Just because she accepts you does not mean that you can fool her. Just because she makes you feel comfortable does not mean that you can be careless about her. Just because she’s patient does not mean that she won’t snap. Just because she trusts you does not mean that you can break her. Just because she forgives does not mean that you can be abusive. Just because she is quiet does not mean that she doesn’t know. Just because she’s strong does not mean that she does not cry. Just because she can adjust does not mean that you can demand. Just because she can give does not mean that you can just take. Just because she’s generous does not mean that you can be greedy. Just because you found her does not mean you’ll find another. Just because she makes you feel alive does not mean that you can take the joy out of her. Just because she loves you does not mean that she won’t leave. Just because she cares does not mean that she will stay.
If you cannot take good care of her, then you don’t deserve her.
