One Hue

Red, yellow, black, white
All under the sun so bright
Brown, blond, green, blue
Every color as great as you

Red, yellow, black, white
All can reach a greater height
Brown, blond, green, blue
In one sky they all see through

Red, yellow, black white
I wish I may, I wish I might
Brown, blond, green, blue
Never fill the heart with rue

Red, yellow, black white
We live and love with all our might
Brown, blond, green, blue
We can’t make rainbows with just one hue

A poem to send a message that every race and every gender is honored. We are all uniquely beautiful and every life matters.
